Tasya and I were married in 2012 and God has blessed our family with two energetic and adventurous boys! We love spending time together as a family and going on many outings and excursions together. Tasya is a full-time homemaker and mom to our two boys. Family is an important aspect of our lives and we believe that God has called us to invest our time and energy to keep our home central to everything else that we do.

I grew up in middle Georgia, east of Atlanta and lived on the same piece of property until I left to attend Tennessee Temple University after high school. The area where I grew up was mostly farm land, so I spent most of my younger years outside exploring and learning about God's magnificent creation. I came to Christ at age 16 and was very involved with our local community church. I pursued a Secondary Education degree in college with an emphasis in Communication. After college, I chose to stay in Chattanooga since I loved the area.

While in college, I started attending Woodland Park Baptist Church through an academic internship. Over time, I plugged into other ministry areas and continued to develop a passion for investing in and mentoring younger believers, which I had recognized as a need within the church body while in college. God provided an opportunity for me to join the staff initially as an Administrative Assistant to the Student Pastor, but over time my position transitioned to become the Communication Director. After marriage, God took my new family a different direction and now God is using that same desire for me to mentor and pour into the lives of my own children. He also opened the door in 2020 for me to join the staff of CPC and I see my position as an opportunity to participate in His ministry here by supporting the staff and using my skills to further His kingdom.

Wow...how does a person begin to answer when you enjoy so many things. I love being outside enjoying the beauty of creation, whether biking, hiking, camping, or just picnicking with our family. I love art, photography, and basically anything creative. I enjoy reading fiction and non-fiction. I love to travel and participate in mission opportunities. The list could go on and on but let's just say that I'm rarely bored.
