Tracy and I were married in 1989 and have been blessed with two children – Abby and Michael. Abby is a Professional Counselor here in Chattanooga and Michael lives in Atlanta with his wife Annie. Family has always been very important to us and we are always finding ways to spend time with each other especially as our family grows. Bring on the grandchildren!

I grew up in Ringgold, Georgia on a family plot near Chickamauga Battlefield. Having many examples of the Christian life lived in front of me through various family members, I became a Christian at age seven. After high school and two years of college, I joined the Air Force and traveled the world for several years as a Combat Civil Engineer. I later finished my degree at Covenant College.

I became involved with Calvary Chapel while stationed in California and South Carolina. I have always enjoyed studying theology and during a Romans study with friends became convinced of the Reformed faith. This allowed me to serve as a deacon and an elder here at Covenant. After 28 years at GPS, the Director of Facilities position opened at CPC and I started in October 2019. Being able to learn new ministry here has been rewarding. I love serving His body through this new job.

Fishing, camping, hiking, traveling out west, playing with my crazy Yellow Lab "Roy", and of course all things Georgia Bulldog Football! Sic’ em!!
