Title: “I Will Not Be Shaken”
Text: Psalm 16
Intro: Don’t we see in this psalm that it’s as if, at times, we must take ourselves in hand and preach and sing to our souls the truth of who our God is in order to stir up our confidence in him by way of remembrance? It’s important to meditate on God's character and sing of his qualities in praise and prayer as David does. In this way, we are not tossed about upon every wind and wave of circumstance or personal failure. We become men and women of resolve and confidence and hope. We are not shaken!
