Sermon Intro: While it’s true we are citizens of heaven, it’s also true that we are resident aliens in this world. And as we sojourn through this world, we will sometimes find that no matter how gracious we are in our lifestyle, opposition will come just as Jesus promised. It’s not a matter of whether we will experience opposition, but how we will respond to it. Will we stand together or will we fall alone? Understanding who we are helps us keep standing!
