John and I were married in December 2004 and we have two children. Our son Carson will start high school this fall and we look forward to being enthusiastic marching band parents (already have the bumper sticker)! I was homeschooled so I am enjoying new school experiences almost as much as Carson. Emily will begin middle school this year and we know our social butterfly is going to love being a part of youth group. We have been nervously awaiting these teenage years and are thrilled to find ourselves enjoying (almost) every minute.

I am the oldest of three siblings and grew up in Illinois and Florida before moving to Tennessee in 2008. I previously worked for an attorney and a physical therapist in management roles. It has been a privilege to work with leaders who love God and incorporate their faith in the workplace. I am always encouraged to see professionals who love the Lord in the way they use their gifts to serve others. I am proud to be a part of a staff, here at CPC, that works together to love and serve God and our community.

The Lord has blessed me with a heritage of wonderful Christian parents and grandparents, and I can proudly say that I have never known a day when I didn’t know Jesus as my friend and savior. My parents were very involved in church ministries when I was growing up and I met John in our church youth group. We share a love for ministry and I hope we are setting that same example for Carson and Emily.

I enjoy cooking with friends and spending time with my parents, siblings, and (13!) nieces and nephews. As our kids get older, we love being involved in their activities and sharing in their excitement. When I have time to myself, I enjoy home projects, podcasts, reading (a whole book all in one sitting if possible), and creating elaborate trip planning spreadsheets for our next family adventure.
