This is my favorite podcast episode of 2021.

On February 11, Tim Keller joined Life and Books and Everythingto speak with Kevin DeYoung (Christ Covenant PCA), Collin Hansen (Editor in chief, The Gospel Coalition), and Justin Taylor (Executive VP Book Publishing, Crossway Books).

The episode is called, Tim Keller on Reformed Resurgence. Ostensibly, the subject matter is the new book by sociologist Brad VermurlenReformed Resurgence: The New Calvinist Movement and the Battle Over American Evangelicalism.

The interview addresses far more than Vermurlen’s book. The reason this is my favorite podcast is because of Tim’s comments regarding . . .

    • His own health, especially heartwarming wisdom on suffering chronic illness. Deeply touching.
    • The relationship between the pulpit, leadership, and evangelism.
    • The state of Reformed Christianity in America since the mid-90s.
    • Why American Evangelicalism still has a future, and how to proceed.
