Psalm 90, a prayer of Moses, opens with these words:
“Lord, you have been our dwelling place
in all generations.
Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever you had formed the earth and the world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.”
On March 6, Minister Matt Fuller of Christ Church Mayfair in London planned to continue his sermon series from Romans. Instead, eleven days after the Russian invasion began, he delivered a sermon addressing the crisis in Ukraine through the lens of Psalm 90.1-17, “Teach us to number our days.”
