It is beyond debate that the matter of divorce in the Bible is very challenging.
David Gibson is pastor of Trinity Aberdeen in Scotland, and he recently preached from Mark 10.1-12 in a sermon called, Jesus and divorce. This is really an excellent sermon on a difficult topic. David refers to Kevin De Young in this sermon. I am not sure if he is referring to a sermon Kevin preached on the same passage in 2010 (see here), or if he is referencing Kevin’s article, Divorce and Remarriage: A Smokescreen and a Fire. He may also be referring to Kevin’s 2021 book, Men and Women in the Church: A Short, Biblical, Practical Introduction. I don’t know.
